The first computer-generated movie by video production services was a shot about loss; an elderly woman was putting mementos of her late husband into a building (which resembled a library, but instead of books, there were a lot of storage boxes) from a clothesline coming in from the outside; all the mementos were hung from the line with hangers. The movie was a metaphor for losing a loved one, and I think it ends with the woman stumbling and dropping everything.
The second one, which I can't locate, also deals with loss. In a room with his granddaughter, the grandfather nods off and, to the granddaughter's dismay, passes away in the sofa chair. When there are no more parts of the grandchild left to store, the room is filled with boxes as she disassembles him, packing away things like his nose and other body parts.
As a child who lost their parents too young in life, I held these movies in the highest regard. If anyone knows what these movies are called, I'd love to find them again!
With love.
