When encountering the error message “Windows was unable to complete the format,” you have several methods to resolve the issue and successfully format your drive. Here are some ways to tackle this problem:
Format Your Drive Using Command Prompt:
Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
Note the drive letter of the drive you want to format.
To format in FAT32, use the command: format /FS:FAT32 A: (replace A with your drive letter).
